Sometimes it takes me forever to create impulsively (oxymoron) and I didn't realize that till I took a class and we had 15 min. exercises to create something out of a random expression. Acknowledging that, I want to become more active in brainstorming and confident in my impulsive creative decisions.
I don't often know where the inspiration comes from when I draw this way. I'm okay with not knowing either, there is something about it that pleases me. In other work that I design, draw etc. I feel that it can still be worked on, still needing to be pushed, but when I draw like this, I eventually stop and FEEL that it is complete. This one took me less than 15 minutes.
